Our new bins mean we can recycle more and keep the Heath clean. We are just trialing this and there are plans to improve the look of the bins when we have a final scheme in place. Please help us by using the correct bins, or even better take your waste home to be recycled.

A stunning Jersey Tiger moth, with beautiful bright orange under-wings, spotted on the Heath by our ecologist who reports these moths were rare in London but are now more common - he's seen them daily on the Heath in the last few of weeks, resting or feeding on nectar.

Lots of people including four 1st or 2nd timers on today's walk. Several Kestrel sightings - at least 2 birds - 4 Swifts over the Boating Pond and, most unusually, a Greylag Goose on the Men's Bathing Pond.
