An observation at the conference. We talk a lot about privacy and sovereignty as being key elements of a data strategy. We need to also talk about valuing data. Is there room for a mechanism within a national data strategy that facilitates the valuing of data?

China’s sponge city initiative has an ambitious goal: by 2020, 80% of urban areas should absorb and re-use at least 70% of rainwater. This is an admirable initiative, and I love the term "Sponge City".
