Anyone else feel the rally was killed once Rivera walked Trout? Game Over Pujols as usual.

The guy is 3rd on the team in RBI and hitting over .300 with runners in scoring position.

He fails in these moments Jeff. I've watched for over a season and a half. He's terrible late in the game in these spots.

I felt it was over once that first pitch to Pujols was called a strike. From then on, basically forced to swing at anything

He did, but Pujols would have still found a way to fail in that spot.

Yeah that was such a BS call. But Pujols is paid to deliver in these spots. He rarely does late in the game.

Besides-- "3rd on the team in RBI"?? They committed a quarter of a BILLION to the guy!

Gotta deliver in these spots. He gets his runs batted in, but RBI's of those sorts are championship caliber.

Just because you get the most opportunities to hit with RISP does it mean you good.

How many game winning / tying hits does he have? How many insignificant hits does he have with RISP?

Yes Pujols can hit but I'm still waiting for his memorable Angels moment.

So was Brad Hawpe, Peter Bourjos, Alberto Callaspo... Thing is, he's paid a ton to deliver in these moments.

Pujols leads the team in RBI in high leverage situations. He has an .851 OPS.
