i'm so woke that i read this as "Women of Color" and wanted to be like "wait, i never left!!!" more seriously -- thanks for your thoughtful engagement. Glad you enjoyed the pod! i'll be back if they can bear to have me :)

buried in the statement: both Russia and China believe the new Cardi B/Megan song “WAP” absolutely slaps, while Iran believes it’s “absolutely haram.”

This great (and hilarious) conversation between and has the inevitable line for all best DC conversations: "We met at Ben Haddad's party".

with the coin shortage it's even worse...honestly the more i think about this idea the more brilliant it seems. It's also interesting to note that this wouldn't have resonated nearly as much if i hadn't gone to the laundromat recently! Commentators need to get out into the world

the last time i was at a 'mat I listened in to an older man chatting with a younger neighborhood guy about fatherhood and responsibility (as 4 lil' kids wandered). It was exactly the kind of encounter a church should be trying to facilitate. But the machines were like $7 a load!

This is a terrific idea. Laundromats are extremely useful and effective third spaces with a welcoming-to-families m.o. (increasingly rare!) Also, shares that at least one church has already done this -- it's called "Wash This Way"
