In case anyone’s interested... we covered these proposal extensively when they were published last year, and at various points in the legislative process. And when the legislation is completed, I’m pretty sure we’ll cover them again.

Most people on Twitter are just brilliant - warm - funny- stimulating - engaging - grown up- diverse opinions - civilised- mutually respectful. But god there are some total wankers

Every time in the coffee queue and asked for a name, I remember the story told by one of the first customers after this new ‘policy’ was introduced. When asked for their name, a voice at the end of the queue said, “Don’t tell him, Pike.”

Good example of the numerous anonymous twats that pollute Twitter. Twitter should insist on disclosure. It would raise the level of discourse. And unfang those oh so brave secret key board warriors.

Congrats on your scooplet. Tho surprised you didn’t even try to contact me, since you made me the story. I could have given a fuller picture. Journalistic procedure clearly changed since I was an editor 🤔🤔

Got my calculator out and compared viewing figures for Jan and Feb 2019 with same period on Daily Politics in 2018. The excellent DP averaged a very healthy 300k or so in early 2018 but happily is averaging 400k now. Up by 33%! Thank you for watching!
