Lancashire Fire Jul 21
We have five fire engines working at an incident on Carr Lane in Croston this morning. The fire involves 200 tonnes of hay. We are asking people to please keep windows and doors closed due to the smoke plume that has generated and avoid the area if possible. Thank you.

Nature spotting at Astley Hall walled garden, . It’s so pretty there. My son spent ages watching the butterfly and bee play chase with each other on all the flowers!

Hi Kate, the frequency of the inspections and the regulations around this are set by the Food Standards Agency. It is based on risk and the previous score. So if the risk was identified as low at a previous inspection we would not need to inspect the premises as frequently.
