Perfectly happy for the grammar correction, thank you. I do understand that the reconstruction wants to be as close to the original as possible... but at a cost to the wildlife that call these trees home? Do we have to destroy to rebuild?

Gobsmacked to read today that many estates have offered their oak trees for . These slow growing trees support a myriad of wildlife... so you’re going to cut them down for a ROOF? Sort out your priorities. A functioning planet is more important than a building. 🤦🏻‍♀️🤬

Sometimes she manages not to swear, it's occasional, but I think it's correlated to whether she's got a bat in her hand.. or in a net.... or is tired...🦇

Climate change issues sadly are much more complex, it’s not just raising money that needs to occur, but a huge change in how we live and consume. I hope that is restored, but I do wish we could galvanise this sort of immediate action about many other things.

If only people felt as determined to rebuild the planet as they do to rebuild . Biodiversity loss, climate change, land use change will all have a much more significant impact than the loss of a building.

The feeling of tragedy invoked by the is very much akin to the tragedy many of us in experience daily. I know you get tired of folks shouting about species going extinct, but we're surrounded by burning cathedrals built across millennia
