Maranatha, Fred! (Is the "T" on the ball cap for UT by chance? I did my college stint at UT Arlington.)

Oh my. How does it happen is the question. Seattle Children's hospital closed surgery because the air filtration system is causing infections and has been doing so for decades! True story. Praying for your nephew.

Most definitely life changing teachings. There are pastors still preaching the gospel, thank God, and there are people responding and walking in obedience. For that and them, I'm thankful. But I hear you. More pastors need to teach what Jesus taught!

A church of young Christians with no pastor attacked. Fourteen men and boys were shot, apparently by Islamic extremists. Join me in praying for those grieving & for this church. Sunday Church Attack Kills 14 in Burkina Faso via

From an earthly perspective, all is temporary. But from a Kingdom perspective, all, for believers, is permanent. All that we say and do, and all of the influence we bring to bear on any situation has enduring consequences. It all counts eternally.

Dawn, thank you for the prayers. The sunflower analogy is lovely, especially the part about turning your face to the Lord. He is with us every moment. God bless you, Dawn.
