ONE THOUSAND marching today in solidarity with the community of Preston New Road outside Blackpool where Cuadrilla began this week. What's needed now is for these numbers to show up during the week. Then Cuadrilla will have to .

Absolutely no comment or tweet from Jeremy Corbyn on 700,000 people marching in London for . Total neglect. Shame on him.

Trying to give you a sense of scale of this march. They’ve been marching since 12 and these people still circa ½ mile from destination in Parliament Square. It’s a big thing.

Esther McVey, told her party conference that benefit cuts were ‘fake news’. Yet here is the truth, families to lose £200 a month on universal credit. The only thing 'fake' is the minister's statement, the Tories cannot be trusted they really must go! 😡

Books are incredibly good value. To buy books in a bookshop, rather than from the world’s richest man, is easy, and worthwhile. Also warm, sociable, rewarding, responsible and sustainable. If we don’t use them we will lose them. Happy bookshop day.

I fear social media is weakening our ability to discerningly apportion anger. It’s a valuable commodity, to be directed carefully. But if you’re as furious with a stupid tweet as with catastrophic climate change then we have a problem - and anger loses its political potency.

Do please retweet if like me you fear what kind of country we’ll become - what kind of values we’ll have - if we don’t now abandon Brexit.

To all the people who have lost their lives or loved ones, been evicted, had benefits slashed or any of the other myriad misfortunes forced upon them by For to dance out to deliver a speech telling people ‘it’s ok, it’s over’ is repulsive.

Following rejection of Chequers plan, Brexiteers say they're shocked and angry at EU leaders continuing to say precisely the same things they've been saying about Brexit for the last two years.
