The Mayor has paid tribute to the work of the Service at a recent civic reception. The charity organisation provides a 24/7 search & rescue response for missing persons, suicide intervention, rural & urban search, water rescue & support.

A new programme celebrating the shared heritage of Rathlin Island, Ballycastle and The Glens will begin later this month. Organised by Council’s Good Relations Team, the ‘Your Place and Mine’ workshops will give people the opportunity to learn about townland names & their origin.

Following the Spinathon event in aid of TinyLife , the Mayor & staff from Dungiven Sports Centre presented a cheque to the charity's local fundraiser Brian Mc Closkey. The charity provides much needed support for premature & vulnerable babies & is the Mayor’s official charity.

Residents of the former Limavady Borough Council area may see a change in their bin collection times from Monday 14th January 2019. Due to operational requirements your blue, brown and black bin collection could take place any time between 7am and 5pm.
