Schools are still failing children now! I’m sure I have DCD, a diagnosis would explain a lot!! but I’ve spent 14 years fighting for my son to get the support he needs.

My husband has not contributed to the upkeep of his Son’s, however manages to go on holiday every year.Let the govt investigate where he gets the money to pay for holidays. I believe this to be fraud

SOS! SEN Dec 3
ALERT - SHEFFIELD FAMILIES We've been contacted by a BBC journalist in Sheffield who is interested in SEN issues and looking into SEN in that area, Does anyone have experience of SEN provision there, and do you fancy talking to the reporter about it?

I agree. DCD affects every aspect of life. Getting SEN depts in schools to recognise this is so important. It really can be detrimental to wellbeing & mental health

This is a great article but what a lot of Dyspraxics struggle with is why there is so little mention of the non-co-ordination related challenges such as short-term memory which can affect Dyspraxics in adulthood. The lack of clarity can be really confusing for some.

I once tripped up over a piece of metal which caught my shoe, which then catapulted me into the air landing me on my hands into hole filled with mud & car oil.I rolled onto my back flailing hands in the air crying.Looked like a Turtle turned over!🤦‍♀️Can’t take me anywhere

Too often 😂 Just need to add 'in the ensuing confusion I tripped over my own foot and ricocheted off a closer-than-I-thought piece of furniture' and it's my day summarised.
