*DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND Father Christmas has agreed to do two extra days at Castle Howard. We will release tickets for Audience With Father Christmas daytime sessions for Thursday 19th and Friday 20th December at 3pm this afternoon.*

We are aware that the queue for Father Christmas tickets is moving very slowly due to the volume of people on the site. There are tickets still available for both 'Audience With' and 'Enchanted Evenings' so please be patient whilst we work with our provider to get things moving.

Are you able to follow our account so I can DM you? The system has slowed right down in the last few minutes due to volume so we are just talking to the provider about how to speed things up.

We are on it in the office and the booking process is very slow at the moment, again because of volume. We have 1000 people trying to book so it has slowed down. Please be patient and our IT providers are monitoring from their end. Thanks for letting us know.

The queue is moving quite quickly at the moment. Live testing and went from 200 to booking page in 6 minutes at 8am, so stick with it and good luck getting tickets.

Father Christmas tickets are now live via the Castle Howard website. You'll be placed into a queue so please do not refresh your browser. You'll see your place in the queue reducing. Head to the Whats On pages of the website and good luck!

We certainly can help. First thing tomorrow we will check if your membership has been processed, we send the joining pack out within 10 days and you’ll get cards when you next visit (so we can take your photo). But we’ll be able to check the membership number on our system.

After we posted the message most people left the booking site which unexpectedly meant those with tickets already in their basket went through but then it went back offline. We didn’t tweet it had gone back up as it hadn’t properly gone up. 10 people booked in this 4 mins.
