Our lives are so beautiful &filled with so much light &opportunity for self-expression and love for ourselves &for others, that it is often blinding. Others can see our light &our potential before or more often than we do, and it is this lack of vision that causes our suffering.

BIPOLAR/PTSD CHRONICLES & SURVIVOR'S CORNER: I am grateful to have a good relationship with some members of my family-of-origin, so I do the same amount of work to see them as it would take to operate a big business or govern a small country!

Whenever I buy dental floss, why do I always read the instructions on the back of the package? Am I expecting to learn something new? Is it suddenly going to say, "Roll entire amount of floss around hand. Rub gently but firmly against teeth and gums. Discard immediately?"

Don't quit because you don't feel as pumped and positive as you did years ago when you tried to motivate yourself. You're different now, so your energy and experience will be different. Different, but just as valid. Learn, embrace, and maximize your new motivation experience!

I was feeling a little bummed I didn't get an "I Voted Today" sticker from the polls last night, when my friend said, "Oh, they don't give those out here. They don't want to encourage Democrats to vote." I responded, "Wow! Sometimes I swear it's like I'm living in the deep south!"
