This is cruel and dangerous and scary for our trans friends and a reminder that Trump hurts people just because he can.

🗣 WHO FUCKING CARES. This is the going rate for elite legal services. I was being billed out at $575 when I was a fucking fifth year associate because that’s what BigLaw charges. This is infuriating.

Thank you, thank you, thank you. It's amazing how more "on track" you can feel when people validate that you're putting in the effort. It should also say something about how important positive SELF-talk is. Aaanyway, I am also SO SO excited to meet and hang in lovely Vancouver.

It's a true and revelatory confidence boost and reassurance that you're headed in the right direction even when it sometimes feels like you're flailing aimlessly in an abyss. 5/5

Too many times we hide our feelings about people because it's weird and maybe comes on too strong or isn't cool. But I encourage you to feel the feelings and tell others the impact they have on your life. I hope you receive it one day as well... 4/5

At a baby shower, a former coworker told me that I am a "powerful person." I was blown away she used that language to describe me. It all felt amazing. Lesson: While we shouldn't seek our confidence from outside sources, it's powerful what positive words can do for someone. 3/5

Last week my business coach asked me to send a strengths survey to my friends and former coworkers to get an outside perspective about myself. I was absolutely FLOORED by the positive things people said about me and my work. 2/5

THREAD: Working for yourself means often working in a clueless vacuum. I went to a CPA today to talk taxes & bookkeeping. Everyone in the office was SO impressed with what I've done in 2 months they kept calling in assistants to check out my books. 1/5
