could be an historic bill, following in the footsteps of the Climate Change Act which also started as a Private Members Bill in 2005. Five parties already support the Bill but this is not enough – we need all parties behind it. Come on Labour!

📢 On Black Friday we're once again calling for the Right to Repair. 🖥️ We shouldn't have to throw away expensive appliances for the sake of a small part. 🔧 Manufacturers should make it easy to repair the goods they sell us.

Honoured to have been asked to write the Foreword for this really important handbook ‘not just a guide to legal rights when protesting, it’s also a handbook for the defence of civil disobedience... That makes it essential reading for us all.’

A national infrastructure bank is welcome, but not enough. Chancellor is responsible for & private sector banks bailing out polluters & pouring billions into fossil fuels Why didn’t he change BoE remit with duty to deliver climate & nature goals?

£92m for trees is not enough . We need to invest £615m per year for next 10 years to restore and expand woodland, peatlands and other habitats to meet nature priorities and tackle the climate crisis

Teachers and heads are heroic- they are keeping schools going and they are on the frontline - they are bone tired -yet school staff earning over £24k won’t receive a pay rise next year It is both wrong and short-sighted to overlook them
