There are obvious answers like Purple Rain, Blues Brothers and O Brother Where Art Thou, but I also love the soundtrack for Superbad too.

I'd read that. Especially if it mentions his beard in season 1.

My 13 year old has a snow day. So, I gave him a list of chores. No problem, he says. The thing he's unhappy with? I asked him to be dressed in real clothes by the time I get home...after 3. "But it's a holiday!!"

I'm down the street from a Catholic school and the number of girls making the 4 block walk to Tim Horton's in their itty bitty skirts is blowing my mind.

On this note, I should probably call my mom with a long, overdue apology.

It’s -20 something and I’m trying to make sure my kid’s dressed warm for his 20 min walk to school. I asked him to wear boots and a hat and you would think I asked him to kick kittens. I just want to keep him from getting frostbite! 😠

Trying to decide if I should shovel again or if I should continue to let the snow pile up and get it in the morning. 😭🌨❄️☃️😭

Also, I live in a town of 100k and we have 5+ thrift stores that accept donations, 2 consignment shops and well over half a dozen charities that collect clothing for those in need. Spread your decluttering donations around.

This is a stupid take. 🙄 As someone who grew up only shopping at Thrift stores or accepting the castoffs of others, let me assure you that donating that nice top that no longer sparks joy is not going to overwhelm your thrift shop and may spark joy for someone who needs it.
