This week I did two Zoom lessons: Sudley 4/5 had 17 out of 25 students show up. Sudley K/1 had 5 out of 7 kids show up. Not bad for our first lessons!

Teachers need to be better equipped to use the technology we have outside of the testing applications to really bring student's learning into the 21st century.

We've had all these resources in my county for years, but I guarantee most people don't know how to use them. I play around with applications and that's how I figure things out. I know what I want to do and know how to find the information, but that's not true for everyone.

Finding ways to provide higher level content for my identified students has really forced me to stretch myself in the content I'm creating. I've learned how to create fillable forms in Word that the students can't edit, how to set up Microsoft Teams, and how to use Stream.

What a week! Reached out to all my K-5 students that I have email information for. Got 4th and 5th grade students set up on Microsoft Teams and uploaded my first optional activity. Have about 1/3 of my 4th and 5th grade students participating on Padlet.
