If Jordan Peterson told his fanboys to drink poison, so they could shed their mortal form and be one with logic, half of them would do it, and the rest would say "well actually he's been misrepresented, as the cyanide is really a metaphor for taking responsibility for your life".

Really? How about fangirls like me? And btw you seem to be out of the loop entirely with how smart and thoughtful his fanbase is (even the men, shock horror)

I've interacted with a lot of his fan base. They are not smart. They are parrots.

You dudes are bots. Parrots, if you like, although as a former owner of 7 parrots I know first hand how individual minded they all are, so I won't use your comparison. Reddit's JBP site is majority-ruled by kind smart folks

And I'm a JBP fangirl complete with a lobster costume and an ever tidier home, so you wanna call me a Parrot? Parrots are awesome. I recommend you befriend some.

If you were smart you would be reading legit philosophers and psychologists and not a guy who is the laughing stock of the academic world. Peterson's views are regressive, unoriginal and where his theory is at all falsifiable it has been proven wrong. He's a liar and a charlatan.

Also to clarify I wasn't talking shit about parrots. They probably have more original thoughts than JP.

He's at the top of the original thinkers alive today hierarchy. What's your position? Oh. Resentment and jealousy. The usual sucker cocktail.

Half of his stuff comes from Jung, the other half comes from Neitzsche and his own asshole. I know his ideas seem fresh, but they aren't. It's just stuff taken from better thinkers with a sheen of generic self help advice masking a lot of patriarchal regressive nonsense.

Thanks for letting me pussy whip you into your rightful lower position in the hierarchy! Remember, us oppressed females come first. (Just messing with you now. Take care. Enjoy the clean room and the cat.)

It's a fun inside joke. Basically his detractors have tried to twist his words e.g. "we should live like lobsters" (see Cathy Newman) so we've owned the joke instead and turned it into a fan meme.

Oh...twisted his words? So, how did "lobster" come into it?

He made the sensible and accurate point that societal hierarchies have existed since crustaceans, as opposed to the commie claim that hierarchies are a capitalist invention.

happy to have a discussion about Jung anytime. I think JBP is doing a great job bringing the forgotten Jung into the forefront of the culture where he is so sorely needed. Rescuing your father from the belly of the 🐳...
