If you want a word to yourself, "terf" will do nicely.

Do you take "complete survey to continue" questions seriously?

For example, a statement like "trans women are different from other women" will be seen as problematic. Not because it's false, but because it's something a terf who's learned that rants about autogynephilia and sinister agendas belong later in the recruitment process might say.

I think the "standard" trans narrative has been warped by an overreaction to bigotry. There's a temptation to adopt a more extreme version of one's own position, to keep it pure and separate from the weaponized "nuance" used as an entry point to the terf radicalisation process.

What was the thought process here? Maybe going through the list and thinking "tragedy... tragedy... tragedy... eww, not the dirty t****y, it probably had it coming anyway... tragedy... tragedy..."?

I don't know why people are surprised at supporting transphobia when she quite literally removes the names of murdered trans women from the memorial lists she reads out in the House of Commons.

I think there's a tendency to overreact to terfobabble, and see dog whistles where none exist.

I prefer "natal male" & "natal female" to AMAB & AFAB (which are only useful when intersex conditions complicate matters). I have no problem with being called natally male in a relevant context. (The usual crowd of social defectives are unlikely to provide such a context.)

I saw the most glorious example of that the other day. In adjacent sentences no less.

A perfect example of how bigots seek to silence their critics, while presenting themselves as brave defenders of free speech.
