It is with heavy hearts CTC said goodbye to one of its own - MAJ Agustin Gonzalez, Class of 2019 Downing Scholar, who lost his life in a car accident on 25 May. Augie was laid to rest today along w his 2 daughters who also lost their lives in the accident

We also see differences across other factors such as age, education, and the commission of violence. This analysis was intentionally basic, but the main takeaway is nevertheless important: if we don’t account for gender in CT/CVE, we do so at our own peril.

While some similarities exist, we find that important distinctions emerge when comparing men and women across ideologies. For example, while the martial status of radicalized men and women differs overall, including ideology reveals more nuance.
