Amy Coney Barrett took a socially distanced judicial oath this morning and is now officially a associate justice. Justices will meet for their private conference on Friday morning, oral arguments resume by telephone next week.

Public Information Office reports that Justice Amy Coney Barrett will use chambers formerly used by Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg. Ginsburg's 5 law clerks are now working for Justices Breyer (2), Sotomayor (2), & Kagan (1).
