I did this last year and couldn't recommend it enough! If you want an opportunity that gives back as much as you put into it, DBF is a good place to be.

Love the new profile pic ! Since you love LGBT+ people, would you mind letting me change my name with your service so that I don’t get deadnamed every time I send or receive money? I’m sure other Trans customers would also appreciate it! ~ your beloved LGBT customer xox🏳️‍🌈

I finished my time with the programme yesterday with a day of 5 events - that was a lot, but some touched me more than others and I couldn't have known in advance which those would be.

We need to start doing this more - weighting time given in terms of emotional value, not in terms of so-called productivity.

She spoke about her Yoruba heritage as opening her up to a tradition in which people spend their time on what matters to them - so that a day spent on something like doing hair and talking doesn't have to be seen as a waste of time.

Ha Seong-Nan's conversation with Mia Gallagher at today made me think about the nature of translated works. Often, a book has been available in its original form for years before we get a translation.
