I actually disagree that wage gap truthers are the ones on the rise--they have always been around. The difference is that their default argument ("women's choices") is no longer widely accepted without question.

It’s tough to break habits of language. I’ve been working on excising “you guys” from my vocab and I have yet to find a comfortable alternative. But language matters. Inclusion matters. And if those are your values, addressing a 2/3 female panel as “you guys” doesn’t sit right.
