Jan Tomaszewski broke my 13 year old heart when his ‘clown’ goalkeeping kept England out of the 1974 World Cup. Love the fact that he drove a Fiat 125 - different times to say the least

Briley was one of the ex-players I spoke to for the book. What's obvious was how much he loved - and still loves - the club. His quote at the time: "Every other club was just a job, Millwall is different" is totally genuine. Oh, and he's still fuming about THAT goal at Arsenal!

Ha ha always wondered what happened to that exuberant supporter who was brutally manhandled when going for Ronaldos autograph. Anyone know?

I went to watch it. Very odd game, ball spent more time in the crowd than anywhere. Very narrow boundaries on both sides, cannot remember the scoring system, all in all a surreal experience.

Great day. We were always up against it, but the second half monk chant / white noise that drowned out United’s goals went beyond the imagination. The Cardiff steward who expertly rugby tackled a pitch intruder intent on chinning Cristiano Ronaldo when he scored changed history.

We are travelling forward in time by a decade with four more stunning views of London, all photographed in the Summer of 1857. The construction of Parliament; A view down the Thames; the bustle of Piccadilly and carriages in Trafalgar Square 😍
