Cambridge University purchased 645 flights to Boston in 3.5 years at a cost of £503, 941.26. JUST 1 return flight from London to Boston produces 1.58 tonnes of Co2 alone. Yet, they think banning burgers is more important in reducing their Co2. Nonsense.

This is the stupidest policy ever - fashionable but brainless Pig and chicken meat is the least sustainable because almost always corn fed - beef can be grass fed and often is in UK If the goal is to reduce the footprint of meat why not choose only pasture fed beef?

Report in on my letter to Cambridge University highlighting the hypocrisy of its massive contribution to airline carbon emissions whilst scapegoating British beef & sheep farmers

More news on Cambridge University’s beef ban. Trinity College (which does not come under the University’s ban) served sirloin of beef after its Remembrance Day service on Sunday. My spies tell me there were ‘no visible takers’ for the non-meat option...

Thread. Cambridge Uni banned red meat in 2016. It said: "It is hard to imagine any other interventions that could yield such dramatic benefits in so short a span of time.” Bold claim. So we asked them how many flights they'd been on since then: 17,000+

My point is that they breed like rabbits and the population will grow exponentially in coming decades

Cue my regular prediction that wild boar/ feral pigs will bring significant changes to the British countryside as well in the coming decades. Forget breeding like rabbits, pigs do it best!

The animal rights movement is so far removed from decency and sanity that sadly this isn’t actually that surprising

Kate Hoey wasn't in touch with the Conservative movement and that didn't stop her being a great Chairman. Think you're confusing your politics and our agenda
