Swedish winger Anton Wedin chooses to sign with Blackhawks
The Blackhawks picked up some depth at forward by adding Wedin, who might have to start in the AHL.

Pronman has nothing good to say... Others do .. which is it??? He's meh or could be solid for the Hawks?

I guess we’ll see next season. He has a chance, but he’s far from a guarantee.

I dont expect him to be a guarantee... It just seems Pronman don't like anybody Hawks go after or draft...

From the details, sounds like another Tim Soderland?

Ha, Corey is often right, but he can be wrong too. I’ll wait to hold judgement on Wedin. He could be a good depth forward.

Well if he's right alot, Hawks may be in trouble, I dont think he like Beaudin or Boqvist either .. 🥺

Could he also go to the Hogs? Or do you think hes being signed for the Hawks?

I think Rockford is a possibility, but I’m sure they decided on Chicago because they felt they had the best chance with their depth chart.

Speaking of depth, any thoughts on Kampf & Perlini being re signed?

I'd be surprised if both weren't re-signed. Someone could always be traded in the offseason, but it's unlikely the Blackhawks let them just walk.

Don't really know too much about him. Other then he can play left or right wing.

I look forward to his right of passage (as a depth forward) to a stint on the first line along side Jonathan Toews.

Wedin signed here hoping to be one of Colliton’s Swedish “boys”. Not good for the team.

I don't see a reason why not to sign to both. Perlini is a work in progress but I think he started to get better as we went on, and Kampf fills the Kruger role.

Not like Söderlund at all. More powerful, better along the boards. A more skilled playmaker, a smarter two-way player.

How is he defensively speaking?

I like that, “a smarter 2 way player”. We need more of those players. Yes our defense was bad, but that isn’t only on the defensemen.
