We are now at the point where we must begin an impeachment inquiry. I don't say that lightly. We've taken every step we can w/subpoenas and witnesses. Trump obstructs everything. A president who thinks he's king, accountable to nobody & ,above the law is absolutely unacceptable.

I also burn out fast and hard. Week after week of 50+ hours is not a thing I can do. I need a lot of time to read and nap and putter around.

I was ordained when my son was an infant, so overfunctioning was literally impossible, and I've never been in the habit of doing it.

There are things I am trained to do. I am good at them. I am one of the few people in the congregation equipped to do them. The rest? Someone else can figure it out.

And the impact of Black families' lack of generational wealth due to redlining, etc. 400 white kids wouldn't be graduating with $100k each in debt.

I love that people are amazed at the thought that a wealthy person can help cover the cost of university education for others— positioning them for what we hope is a lifetime of success and financial security—when in some countries that’s just called taxes.

Some of us like not cooking the planet in order to get to the grocery store. Also there literally isn't room on the earth for everyone to live on umpteen acres.

In my bilingual context, we do frequently pray in both English and French. I keep meaning to print out copies of the LP in German and Latin to keep on the altar so I can pray those aloud just to mess with people's heads.
