He hedged his bets. In the second round, he predicted that the Bucks would win the chip but that Kawhi was the best player lol

Those are “can they get over the hump?” questions. Much like Dame, Harden and others are being asked now. (And no one questions if they can lead a team btw) I heard nothing about him being a bad teammate.

I never talked about his leadership in GS? I said there were no leadership doubts or questions before he went there...can you think of any major incidents?

Well then which one is it? He elevated a team of bums, or he received personnel that was specifically tailored to his style of play?

Now again, no one was saying they were journeymen when they made the trade (serious analysts said it gives them a path to the finals) but I digress 🤷🏾‍♂️

No, but idk if I would compare GSW to any other situation in the league. They have a 2 time MVP who doesn’t care if another peer gets more shine on his team. They’re a completely different leadership/intangibles beast.

Take away the social media drama of GSW and what’s the proof that he’s a bad leader? I doubt there’s much question about KD’s leadership at all...

Definitely agree on Phil. I do think it’s important to point out that NOBODY questioned KD’s leadership before he went to the Warriors. They’ve met expectations and he’s killshot Lebron two years in a row. The only thing people point to is his immature responses on social media

I would argue neither Shaq nor Kobe were traditional, level headed leaders, just driven to win.
