Spent a good portion of the weekend gathering info on what small restaurants are still open (blog post forthcoming). What made me happiest is hearing that Murry and Pauls is still doing carry out. Serving Brookland since 1964.

We’ve heard so many great things about the Larry’s (Primrose) bucket of fried chicken, but opted for the pulled pork sandwich tonight instead. Delicious!

I was curious how things are going at the Armed Forces Retirement Home in Petworth, home to 260 veterans in their mid-80s. Thankfully, no positive coronavirus cases. They are taking precautions, though, including carry-out meals and stopping visits:

Today I went on a Safari - penguins, bunnies, bears and more! So much fun! To join in put your animal in a window and add them to the safari map and/or take a walk (at a safe distance to others) and follow the safari map. Info here:

The courts just ruled in favor of the developer for the massive RIA development adjacent to . This is one of two lawsuits against the development and this decision can be appealed.
