I love how calm Mariota is in the pocket. Doesn't stray too far and finds the perfect "spot" to throw the ball from.

Mariota might be the best QB in the league at manipulating defenders. Watch how he manipulates #59 to create an open throw to Walker.

Look really closely, and you can see Mariota move his eyes at the last second to fire Walker open for the TD. Manipulated #51.

Mariota makes perhaps the quickest reads from any QB I've ever seen.

I love this. Positions secondary away from Amaro's route so he can get open.

Nearly the exact same thing happened a few plays later. What a throw.

Throw could've been better, but Mariota going through his progressions is so quick and snappy it's a sight to see.

Mariota did #93 dirty there with that eye movement.

definitely starting to see what you're saying about him manipulating defenses. You think Mariota>Winston?

Continue to pay close attention to how Mariota no looks on this pass again, yet his footwork indicates the receiver he's targeting.

These are the details you miss on broadcast and show up when evaluating All-22 film. They make Mariota's film that much better.

Love that Mariota throws the receiver open as soon as he notices Matthews turning the corner on his route (even if the throw is behind).

The guy (#21) that drilled Matthews on this TD is the guy Mariota tricked because of his eyes and quick read on Matthews' route.

Mariota is so consistently good at the eye fake. Leads defender away from now open Fasano.

Mariota doesn't panic under pressure. This whole sequence is amazing.

Still no panic under pressure. Also, Mariota to Walker is a great combo.
