Just spoke to Stoddard County court personnel. Lutz appeared in court in Bloomfield with his attorney this morning, and waived formal arraignment. His bond remains at $125,000 cash-only. The charges were filed in Stoddard County, which is where St. Joseph Parish in Advance is.

UPDATE: I checked with Missouri 's office today, and they confirm Lutz is one of the 12 referrals involving former clergy. I've updated my story with the AG's full statement. He's encouraging anyone else with information about Fr. Lutz to call (573) 568-4640.

I spoke to Missouri in late October in Jefferson City, and he noted his office was close to finishing 12 referrals of former clergy members across the state for potential criminal prosecution. The Lutz case appears to be one of those 12 cases.
