Driving a vehicle on foreign plates does not mean you will not be stopped. Foreign cars that have been in UK for 6+ months in a year must be registered with DVLA and fitted with UK plates. If owner is judged to be resident, they must register vehicle within 2 weeks of import.

Sorry to say but not 100% successful. Both the metal tin, whatever you do with it, or the microwave method can work but not in all cases. So far the Faraday case has been 100% successful as we have seen CCTV of unsuccessful attempts where a case is in use.

Afraid using a biscuit tin or a microwave or anything else are myths. The only thing that works is the Faraday case.

High value Mercedes GLC 250 stolen in London in the early hours of this morning has been recovered from Waltham Abbey. Vehicle fitted with a tracker system. One happy owner will be reunited with their vehicle once forensically examined. Faraday case may have prevented this theft.

Think this is good enough to drive? Believe it or not there are people who believe this is sufficient for them to then drive. This will amount to careless or dangerous driving. Points and a fine heading your way if you do not clear the windscreen and front side window glass.

With the current road conditions being wet, slippery or icy, are your tyres up to the job? It only takes a few minutes to check and could save a life or save you from large fines or even loosing your driving licence. 3 penalty points per tyre and up to £2500 per tyre.

Why stop speeders? Apart from the obvious fact that they are breaking the law these offenders also regularly are drink or drug driving. In this case with the legal limit being 35 they blew a prosecutable 67.

Apologise. Our officers attending the Dementia Cafe in Ongar this morning have been delayed as they have come across a road traffic collision en-route. They will still be attending as soon as they can.
