Although today has seen community teams concentrate on the remembrance ceremonies it should be remembered that normal policing continued. Local Policing Teams continued to respond to calls for assistance. The various community teams attended calls between the various ceremonies.

Inspiring to see so many young people from the district in the parades. You did yourselves proud! Humbling as always to see the veterans. Well done and thank you to everyone who took part or watched the events around today.

There will be remembrance services across the county today with some minor traffic disruption. Please be patient and respect this minor inconvenience in remembrance and honour of those that gave their tomorrows for our today's and those who have served this country with honour.
