Simple, the one that has the least animal suffering, wildlife devastation, and best for the planet.

63% of Europe's arable land is used to produce livestock feed. If someone wants to reduce overall cropland use, then a vegan diet might be a good idea. The 2050 population could be fed a vegan diet without deforestation, using less cropland than in the year 2000 (Nature, 2016)

Something particularly distasteful about a woman supporting the routine separation of mothers and babies for human profit 😡

Every meat eater & farmer on Twitter exclusively eats/farms animals on small local farms that lovingly kill the animals on site, fed only human-inedible grasses & crop byproducts, raised holistically on green watered marginal lands on which nothing else could possibly grow. 🌈🦄

I will call my vegan sausages 'sausages' if I want to. Nobody owns the word 'sausage'. It doesn't belong to any type of food. I've seen beef and chicken sausages so it's all bullshit. It's a bloody vegan sausage. Deal with it.

The excessive preoccupation that vegan diets are associated with privilege, elitism, wealth, “first-world” luxury etc. is an incredibly hypocritical, defensive smokescreen.

As can be seen below, using land for agriculture is the leading cause of habitat loss. Since livestock farming uses 83% of agricultural land, that makes it the main driver. Wildlife would benefit most from reducing farmland and rewilding the spared land. Vegan = 76% less farmland

People arguing against veganism often feel compelled to say/show they’re eating flesh, as if to reestablish dominance over both animals and people advocating on their behalf. Rock paper scissors meat. Wow, you win, you’re so powerful. There there, feel better about yourself now?

And she calls emaciated dairy cows an “animal welfare issue,” but believe me, if dairy farmers could get profitable amounts of milk from emaciated cows they would simply create a narrative to justify it, just like they’ve done with calf removal (“bad mothers! Safety of calf!”).😡

This shameless industry shill is against comparing cows to women - except when she’s trying to justify cow exploitation. How DARE she try to conflate the normal process of mamas nursing their own babies to the sick fetish of parasitizing lactating mama cows.

Meat-eaters will often remark on how man-made tools allow us to behave like carnivores, yet show complete disdain at the idea of someone using a man-made tool (e.g. a B12 supplement) to behave like a strict herbivore. In that instance, the man-made tool is "unnatural" and bad.

Milk taken from mothers intended for their own individual babies in their specific stage of development, taken via machines, all mixed together, and then fed back to babies as a generic vat of milk. Could be formula. Absolutely no reason they shouldn’t be nursing on THEIR MOTHERS

1/3 of all crops are squandered as animal feed per UN FAO. A global vegan shift would require 75% less farmland per a large recent study published in Science. That’s a lot less farmland, far fewer chemicals, far more insect habitats left intact.

Vegans, hear me out. When morning shows et al. want to talk about veganism, imagine if they replaced white vegan pretty boys and unobtrusive white women with black people. 1/6
