When your glad people are anti animal abuse when it comes to pets because it means it’s being talked about but you’re mad because you know damn well they go home and eat animal products

hey remember when the panama papers came out and revealed that all the rich people in the world are part of enormous criminal conspiracy to dodge taxes and hoard stolen wealth in offshore accounts and literally nothing happened

Last week the Chicago Police set up a bait trap by putting a truck full of tennis shoes in the hood then arresting any kids who took a pair. So - let's buy THOUSANDS of shoes for every kid in Chicago who needs a pair. ORDER TONIGHT @

Same old tired tropes. Vegans mostly just replace animal flesh/secretions w staple beans/grains (mostly wasted as feed.) Like nonvegans, fruit veg nuts seeds eaten more sparingly. That’s why plantbased shift REDUCES not increases crop production & would require 75% less farmland.

Animal welfare? Animal ag including pasturing animals is the #1 driver of species extinction, and it causes the deliberate killing of tens of billions of animals globally/annually. They get shade though? Come on. Researchers say we need to REDUCE pastures for reforestation.

You said it’s simple, just eat pastured cows & baby sheep. But this can only possibly ever provide a tiny fraction of global cals & protein; productivity can’t be lifted enough to feed people en masse, as common sense & this global calculator demonstrate:

You are ignoring over and over again the fact that pastured ruminants CANNOT FEED PEOPLE EN MASSE, the yields suck. What are you arguing for? To use vast areas of land to provide a small amount of global calories & protein? How can areas being used as pasture be reforested?

On brilliant statement: “People who benefit from a system of privilege are often loathe to look at that system critically.” Yet later used other species’ perceived mental capacity to justify killing/eating them, & laughed.😰

No, last graph referencing OVERSEER (TM). AGAIN, pastured ruminants can’t feed people en masse because yield sucks. This separate methane issue highly debatable and I wasn’t referring to methane in pasture reduction but carbon released/captured by trees.

people love to talk about dismantling big businesses & boycotting certain things but ask soon as you mention the harmful impacts of animal agriculture, all of a sudden it’s “nothing will change you’re just a person” or “there’s no ethical consumption under capitalism”

Our cooking has expanded to a whole new level since becoming vegan👨‍🍳🌱 Now we cook with ingrediants we have never used or heard of before when we were non-vegans! 😬 I like to call them „vegan magic“ 😀💚🌱 What’s your favorite vegan magic?

First, chart doesn’t show any source & appears to be plugging a trademarked product, is it an ad? Second, you’re overlooking many, many externalities and not addressing logistic impossibility of feeding world via pastured animals. We need to reduce, not expand, pastures/ranches.

Eat only pastured cows & baby sheep? AGAIN, pasture/ranches already #1 land use on Earth but the yields suck. "Beef" alone uses nearly 60% of global ag land but accounts for less than 2% of calories & 5% of protein consumed worldwide (Union of Concerned Scientists). Simple fix?🤔

If a plantbased shift would mean the herbicide and pesticide companies would sell more product, they would be pushing for a plantbased shift. So would politicians that take money from those companies. Instead the opposite is true. Meat/dairy are constantly pushed from top down.

Again, animal ag uses 80% of all farmland. Most herbicides used for feed crops & ranches/pastures are #1 land use in world for comparably small yield. Law of trophic levels dictates plantbased = fewer crops/land. Yet you keep conflating a plantbased shift with “intensification.”
