In 1972, a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court for a crime they didn't commit. I was also born.

I am over the moon to see that Ben and Marcus have their story permanently chronicled in the country music folklore. I’m so honored to my voice included in ‘s “There’s No ‘I’ In Beer” music video.

You invited me to into your parties, your homes, you bounced beers off basketballs, and you’ve made this strange time so memorable for me. Here’s the video WE made. All in this together, indeed.

This was our weekend. The back row of cars was over 1/4 mile away, but somehow I’ve never felt closer to an audience. Everyone went the extra mile to make this work & somehow, safely, we played live music again. These are the moments we will never forget.

I wrote these words for Charlie’s biography. They ring even more true now. I’m so sad he’s gone. We have so many memories together, and I am so blessed to have known him. Rest In Peace my friend. We love you.
