It may look petite now, but they don’t call Gunnera the ‘giant rhubarb’ for nothing! The leaves of this sensational plant can grow up to 2 metres wide! Find them at the Duck Pond in Mount Lofty Botanic Garden. Thanks to visitor Philip Gibson for this photo.

First place! Congrats to staff at Wittunga, who entered their stunning South African blooms at the Royal Adelaide Show. They won in a range of classes for with a mix of Proteas, Leucospermum, Leucadendron and Erica blooms. Simply beautiful!
