LFT scheme was introduced in 1996. Our recycling industry has been around for decades/centuries before the LFT. LA’s only jumped on the bandwagon in 1996.

Without PERNs, low grade Plastics such as PTTs, Carrier Bags & Construction Film would never have a recycling solution. Recycling rates would have reduced without it. The value of PERNs are passed down the recycling chain.
