Black people should not be broadly stereotyped based on the bad actions of some. Neither should an entire country. America is not a racist nation! The heartbeat of racism is the animosity & victimhood that your agenda pushes. You teach helplessness. We teach hopefulness.

I want to praise for reminding us of the promise of the American dream for upward mobility and that the REAL solutions to our problems are found in our communities, not in our government. That is REAL empowerment of the American people.

For 30 years, the Woodson Center has focused on empowering local leaders who are already solving problems around them. We focus on building trust with the police who risk their lives to protect the most vulnerable, not vilifying and targeting them.

George Floyd's death was unjust & tragic. But so are the hundreds of violent murders in the Black community that are ignored by BLM, Maxine Waters, & the liberal elites! They're weaponizing race for political purposes at the expense of low-income Blacks.

Those who try to leverage this tragedy for their political or financial gain - like the founders of BLM & Maxine Waters - are disrespecting the families who have lost loved ones to senseless violence. Defunding the police is not the answer & it isn't what Black people want. (2/3)

The death of George Floyd was a terrible tragedy. Although he wasn’t perfect, his life had great value and dignity to God and he should matter to all of us. I hope his family can now find at least some peace in their grief. (1/3)

The loudest advocates of defunding the police don’t have to live with the consequence of their advocacy. The Los Angeles City Council president pushed for defunding the police while having a personal police escort at her home.  My latest column in :

"No more policing"? Ok. All politicians who want to defund & eliminate the police should lead by example & start with their own security detail, personal neighborhoods, & gov't offices. Give up your protection...
