Wire Tiny Desk Concert! It was beyond surreal to watch Wire performing at my desk, in broad daylight. I spent many an evening over the past 40 years, listening to their , artful bursts of noise, seeing them in dark clubs in the '80s and beyond.

There's a moment near the top of this Sylvan Esso Tiny Desk (home) concert when Amelia Meath and Nick Sanborn exchange glances and love spills from their eyes and into my heart. Hear 3 songs from their home couch.

A favorite and memorable Tiny Desk concert from Lankum. The power this Irish band displays with drones and melody has stuck with me all these months since this concert's recording. And it was a hard road to make it happen.
