Let’s keep it straight: It’s a State Bowl title - don’t confuse this truncated format with producing state champs - gotta wait for & its final State Division Rankings to see who the “True State Champions” are🥳 CalHi usually goes 5 or 6 divisions, which is plenty🤠

Competitive equity screws small public schools. Create private school divisions and public school divisions if you want true equity.

The CCS also went to 100 percent competitive equity seeding this year, which means wherever that magical line falls that your team is either screwed or golden. The line fell right in front of Milpitas so instead of 8th seed in higher bracket it was 1st in the next one.

Shows that Sea Kings can grind one out too. May have to win similarly next week against Serra (San Mateo). Serra had clutch 14-play, 86-yard drive today in 28-18 win vs San Joaquin Memorial.

Well, I am a true Capitalist at heart and believe in the free-market economy, so I guess I’ll have to credit Stats CIF for going after the Benjamins🤠

But, hey, you know I love a good discussion🧨 Be hitting both those games next week, seem film on Isaiah Creech and want to see him live - highland does lot of blocking and tries to attack a point with lots of bodies, sort of like Clayton valley does

Small School dram gets crushed by big-school billy sums it up - 3,100 kids playing 600 kids? That’s like putting big valley in the TVL and saying it’s equitable because big valley is a private school. Competitive Equity has no benefit to small schools, zero, nada🙀

We’ve known for a while, and now official with Sierra falling 10-0 to Rancho Cotate, Escalon beating Pleasant Valley-Chico 41-17 and Manteca falling 46-13 to a McClymonds team that’s ready to play some college ball with its talented kids🥳🥳 Escalon & Ripon in State Bowls next🤠
