There is a pattern between the Ottoman, Safavid and Timurid miniatures. But the Mughal style is unique and completely different for some reason. It is interesting because the Mughal miniature was strongly influenced by Safavids (and Timurids to a lesser degree).

Apparently this is not the first time they name a dinosaur after a Timurid. There is another type literally called "Timurlengi".https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timurlengia …

My friend
@Azn_Phucboi sent me this interesting story: A new carcharodontosaurian theropod dinosaur has been discovered in Uzbekistan. They named it after the Timurid price Ulugh Beg.https://royalsocietypublishing.org/doi/10.1098/rsos.210923 …Show this threadThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo -

The Persian word for "Paradise" (which is also originally Persian) is "Behesht" (بهشت) and for "Hell" is "Duzakh" (دوزخ). Both have their origin in the Zoroastrian tradition. The Islamic/Arabic words are also used: "Jannat" (جنّة) for Heaven and "Jahanam" (جهنم) for "Hell".

I mean, how come very few care about a man wearing jeans or a t-shirt but when a woman wears a burqa or a mini-skirt people suddenly dislike it? That is because women and their bodies have become a tool for political discourse. Behavior encouraged by all parties.

This shows two things: -The weaponization of women rights by the West, Liberals and Conservative people alike. Men clothes do not stir this sort of animosity. -Failure of nation-building. We still have huge cultural differences, lacking of an unifying vision for ourselves.

The debate over female clothes in Afghanistan goes to show the huge cultural disparity amongst Afghans, both inside and outside the country. No matter what type of clothes they wear, a huge chunk of the population will always consider it alien.
