Pleased to hear will be meeting with elected reps from borough and parish councils in Ince Blundell regarding the change to 47 bus service. Arriva propose to stop the 47 travelling through Ince Blundell. Ridiculous suggestion which will cut off entire community

Large firms who exploit their small business suppliers by paying late need to be stopped. Labour has an action plan. That’s why we are rapidly becoming the party of business. The Tories need to follow suit. Words & consultations not enough.

We must give the public a final say vote on the details of a Brexit deal. Today’s CBI figures showing factory orders at their lowest since 2016 and car manufacturing at its lowest since 2009 are further confirmation that we have to end this Brexit uncertainty.

Weakest factory since 2016. Sharpest contraction in car manufacturing since 2009. Brexit uncertainty biting hard. Time for a final say public vote so country can unblock deadlock. Jobs and economy depend on it.

Big power imbalance between large and small firms on late payment. Today’s government announcement is step forward but they will need to give the Small Business Commissioner far greater power and resources if they are serious. Time for action not words.
