I resent that Zinedine Zidane, who I quasi-worship and also (according to a fairly broad sample of kids in sub-Saharan street markets over the years) resemble, manages Real Madrid, who I despise on principle. And people say sports are ethically primitive.

Dear corresponding authors, as an editor, I want feedback like this so I can blacklist crap reviewers. And reviewers, don’t confuse ‘honesty’ with being an ass. After you finish your review, reread it and ask ‘how would this make a junior colleague feel?” Then rewrite as needed.
