Touring views. The Cenotaph, Queen’s Gardens, Dunedin. Leaning tower is a result of camera’s panoramic deception, not incipient Pisa-esque totterage. Lovely green oasis of calm and remembrance, a place to pause on this whistle-stop train of whimsy.

Paddling silently through this stunning moss-covered,glow-worm festooned gorge, above Maclaren Falls,Tauranga, I am reminded again why I love paddle-boarding, where it can take you, and also of the pristine beauty of New Zealand. Thanks to Kirsten of

Being eyeballed by two Red-legged gulls in Dunedin. Thanks to all those at the first night of my tour ⁦⁩ a beautiful old theatre, one which I have great fondness for as it was the venue where I first did a show with Hall. True story

I’m in Australia also. But I will accompany you to Salisbury to visit the famous Zizzi’s Restaurant. It has one of the largest salad bars in Wiltshire

Temperatures in the 30’s in Old Albion?. That’s nippy. Here in Furnace Creek, Death Valley. I’m a bit dazed to be honest. 52 C in the old money.

My evening paddle on the Klarälven in Värmland, Sweden . Where, you’ll not be surprised to learn, it’s the hottest since records began, since dinosaurs walked the Earth etc etc

I often dream of being in a wild place , somewhere under a big sky, peaceful and remote and exotic but sometimes a wheatfield in Hertfordshire is all it takes
