A century plus before girls' education became a global buzzword, this gent travelled from Calcutta to Jalandhar to Lahore and Hoshirpur, transforming lives. If we dug deeper, we'd find so many heroes from the era before that word became popular.

If we worked on cleaning the air all year round, we might not even need an odd-even. That's why air pollution will be better served by projects like Ajmal Khan Road than odd-even.

For me, this image is what development is about. That a kid cn cycle to a good school nearby w/o fear of crime, pollution or unsafe roads. And pull a bag on wheels w/o hauling it on his shoulders. Can't wait for Indian kids to enjoy this day soon.

Bad air severely damages our lungs. We know that. But we also need to know that it harms our brains, our nervous system and heart. It is an all-round killer. Recognize this. Fight bad air.

16 yrs ago I walked into a friend's home in . He'd just got home tbis Siamese kitten. I named her Vanilla Cream, a name she loved n responded to. It was so wholesomely lovely to cuddle her again. May the animals we love live long and healthy. And the people too.

Well. We don't do inverted snobbery as much as in your face snobbery. And our uber rich... They dress to bedazzle.

OMG. We know this and yet it is so profound. Plants sponsor every second inhalation we take. And planktons the second one. Still indifferent to cutting down all those trees?

A short story dispenser in . You can press a button n get reads for 1, 3 or 5 mins for free. My 5 min read was abt a widower who made noodle soup for breakfast just as his wife taught him but d woman next door used d weird breakfast theme to over-befriend him.

During the last census, 2 school teachers came over early evening. We drank nimbu pani n learnt how impolite people were to them instd of celebrating them as agents of this fabulous exercise. Pls make time for the census folks. They have a 1.26 billion to cover.

In this bastion of privilege, extreme inverted snobbery rules. I've been told that the way to spot a tech millionaire walking on campus in Stanford is his clothes. An adult in ultra casual clothes and a hoodie. Nobody had a clue abt how to spot a woman tech millionaire.

Exactly d prob w bio n compostable plastics. Even in fancy Stanford, d best alternative to a plastic glass is bioplastic tht can only be composted in an industrial facility if available. And lots of plastic still. Our no-plastic models in lighter on d earth.
