I go to the same supermarket every single time and I still can't figure out what size fucking bin bags to buy. You're really living life on the edge.

Woah! A new supermarket??? You mean a whole new supermarket?? Not even the same type of supermarket but in a different place with a similar yet strangely different layout??? Woah! That's far out dude.

Decide which one you think you should buy/you thought you bought last time and then go for the other option. I ALWAYS buy the wrong frigging one.

Q: What's the one thing that's better than remembering you might possibly have a pack of crumpets in the freezer and your toaster has a defrost button? A: Going to check & discovering it's actually a pack of muffins. 😊

You can add an s to that. Not entirely sure which one was responsible for the slobber. I did get wrapped up in leads at one point and had to be rescued by the apologetic owner who'd got distracted picking up poop so inadvertently let her two lasso me.

Kind of a bit hungry, but I don't really have anything I fancy in the house. Not that's suitable or good for me. Been eating waaaay too much lately anyway. And it's too late really. Besides, I'm hiding under the duvet.

Afternoon slump *slumps*, my weekend laziness has caught up with me. Just taken a turn round the car park to perk myself up. Should probably walk somewhere on the way home but no idea where. River's always a favourite...

Have a shed load of theatre tokens so thought I might sneak off and see a play tonight. Checked six theatres locally-ish, all either dark or having a "film season". Won't be seeing a play then.

Trying to book to see a friend in a show at Chichester, it's a fair distance so can only make limited dates, the shows I can go to have tickets left but only for "young people" and they're not released for general sale just in case they want to book last minute. Rubbish.

Apart from two hours in the forest yesterday and almost two hours in the forest today I've spent the entire weekend in bed. That's terrible.

This weekend may have completely sucked but I am in no way, shape or form ready for it to be Monday.

Puffy red eyelid is back :-( I've not worn my lenses or makeup for over a week. Rubbish. Hope this isn't the massive cyst coming back, that was horrible, especially when it burst. Sorry, too much information.

18 August is the feast of St Helena, mother of Constantine, who according to legend found the True Cross. Medieval writers claimed she was from Britain, daughter of King Coel of Colchester. Today she's said to be the patron saint of archaeologists. f. 184

No, they did that the week before, we were working on a section of the blast pen and then uncovering a feature and a hut right near the houses that are up in that corner.

No way! I had no idea you were so close. I spent three days there a couple of weeks ago on an archaeological dig. Would love to have seen you guys. We had quite a few dogs in our trench!

It's definitely very pretty, I'd have an explore. Only been once, for one night, about 20 years ago. But I remember it was very pretty.
