More gorgeous weather and stunning views from Newgale to St Non's Bay, St David's. At 10 miles with a total ascent of over 3300 feet I was very glad not to be carrying my big rusksack.

Now following my routes in order, yesterday I walked from Little Haven to Newgale, with its 2 mile stretch of sandy beach.

London Search and Rescue are recruiting "Anyone over the age of 18 can apply, but you do need to be reasonably fit to be an active searcher. However the group also needs administrators and fundraisers in support of ‘operational’ members..."

The rule of thumb is if the cliff is 10 metres high then every effort should be made to stay 10 metres from the base of the cliff. If visitors do find themselves involved in a coastal emergency, they must dial 999 immediately and ask for the Coastguard.

The end to a good day at Worm’s Head NCI. 1 incident, cut off by tide in Kitchen corner. 1 incident we were not involved in, fall down cliff at Rhossili, both witnessed by our DFS inspector. We passed. Well done watchkeepers Ernie, Sandra, Maddy & Bill.

Well done to the grass cutters from who were out maintaining the coast path today near Angle. They carefully mowed around clumps of wild flowers rather than take the easy option of cutting them along with the grass 😊 Great job 😎
