In the wealthiest country in the history of the world we can provide a decent standard of living for all of our people. That's not utopian dreaming. That is a reality.

What I mean by democratic socialism is that I want a vibrant democracy. Trump is actively involved in voter suppression and trying to keep people of color or low-income people from voting. I want to make it easier to vote.

Unlike Trump, I did not come from a family that gave me a $200,000 allowance every single year starting at the age of 3. As I recall, my allowance was 25 cents a week.

Our campaign is about fundamentally ending the disparity of wealth, income and power in this country. But as we do that, we must also address the disparity within the disparity—the outrageous levels of racial disparity that currently exist.

As I said in Henderson yesterday: to stop climate change, the U.S. must lead the world in transforming our energy system away from fossil fuels to sustainable energy. I'm glad to see & adding Nevada to the Alliance.

Republicans in states all over America have been trying to prevent people from voting. This is unacceptable. We must make voting easier. I urge Iowa lawmakers to reject this bill.

Seniors cannot live in dignity trying to survive on $13,000 or $14,000 a year in Social Security benefits. Donald Trump wants to cut Social Security, but we have some bad news for him. We're not going to cut Social Security benefits. We're going to expand them.

I’m proud that our campaign is the first presidential campaign to unionize. We cannot just support unions with words, we must back it up with actions. On this campaign and when we are in the White House, we are going make it easier for people to join unions, not harder.

We will no longer accept a situation in which the top 25 hedge fund managers on Wall Street make nearly double what 140,000 kindergarten teachers in America earn and millions of kids go to over-crowded and under-funded schools.

The inventors of insulin sold its patent for $1. Eli Lilly now charges $360 a month for the drug and made $3.2 billion in profits last year. Meanwhile, Americans must sell all their possessions to get the insulin they need. We’re going to take on the greed of the drug industry.

It is not a radical idea to say that people ought to have clean drinking water when they turn on their taps. Today we say to the American people that we will rebuild our crumbling infrastructure.
