It’s not surprising that Trump has chosen an adviser who has been defined by racism, xenophobia, sexism and homophobia. We’ll send Trump and his whole disastrous team packing in 2020.

Medicare for All doesn't dictate private health care decisions. That's what Republicans are doing by taking away a woman's right to control her body. Medicare for All will provide comprehensive reproductive coverage, including abortions, so that everyone gets the care they need.

My message to Betsy DeVos: when we're in the White House not only will you no longer be our Education Secretary. You and your billionaire friends will pay your fair share so teachers aren't living in poverty.

Well, I never expected our ‘(away from) home movies’ to be the subject of a article. But it does illustrate 2 things - 1) the focus was on peace & friendship & 2) Bernie has a sense of curiosity & humor! Still ❤️ my guy!

Instead of criminalizing reproductive health care, state legislatures must protect a woman's constitutional right to choose. I applaud the Nevada Legislature for voting today to remove outdated criminal penalties for abortion from state law.

Walmart workers are sick and tired of being paid poverty wages, while the Walton family is worth over $170 billion. I’m honored to have been invited by Walmart workers to demand they have a seat on the company’s board.

A few short years ago, we were told that paying workers a living wage of $15 an hour was “too radical.” Not so radical anymore. Now it is time to turn our vision into reality.

Why is it that we allow charter schools to siphon public money out of public schools — often with worse results — simply to enrich Wall Street executives, Silicon Valley CEOs and billionaires like the DeVos family?

Since the late 1980s, the number of racially segregated schools has more than tripled. This segregation isn't by accident—it's the result of policy decisions made in courts, in state legislatures and in Washington. I will not tolerate still having separate and unequal schools.

Bernie has spent his Monday morning on a tour of sites highlighting poverty and civil rights struggles in rural AL. A sample: He’s pictured here visiting a home in Tyler, where infrastructure is so bad it’s been deemed highly unusual for a first-world country.

Today I met Pamela Rush in Tyler, Alabama. Her daughter has trouble breathing at night because of mold in their home and there is sewage runoff in her backyard. Pamela is not alone. This is the reality for millions of Americans, but you don’t hear that in Congress or on TV.
