People change over the course of 17+ years. Can any of us really stand up to scrutiny? Who he is now is not who he was then. The glory of the gospel is redemption; that we are changed in Christ. Gal 6.

What he did was a criminal act. What he also did disqualifies him from serving in a leadership position.

Neutrality helps the oppressor, never the victim. Silence encourages the tormentor, never the tormented. Do not cover up or hide this infection. Expose it to sunlight so healing can begin.

I believe you Megan Frey and JoAnna Hendrickson. My soul grieves that someone blessed to care for you chose instead to take advantage of you. Instead of lifting you up to the presence of God, they sought to keep you for themselves. May Gods face shine upon you today.

I think this is a fair response. Everyone deserves due process. As long as it’s fair, honest, and impartial. If there are conflicting accounts let’s hear it, all that is out there are the detailed response of the lady’s . I’m interested to hear a verifiable alternative.

Though this decision affects women at least as much as men, an elder board of 10 men will decide it. I hardly think that is fair.
