"The fall in the poverty rate in Belarus reflects the inclusiveness of the country’s economic growth... Belarus exhibited the highest rate of growth of expenditures of the bottom 40% of the population during the period 2006-2011, at a time when" the opposite happened elsewhere

In Belarus, "Gov't taxes and spending help shift money from the rich to the poor... Direct transfers–pensions, in particular–are the most equalizing and pro-poor of the fiscal interventions in Belarus. Direct transfers and direct taxes lower the national poverty headcount by 17%"

The US has activated its "color revolution" network in Belarus, which is trying to overthrow the government. Btw this Belarusian opposition media outlet is funded by numerous Western governments and billionaire oligarchs who bankroll regime-change efforts

US propaganda outlet Radio Free Europe / Radio Liberty (a CIA cutout that was originally called Radio Liberation from Bolshevism) is churning out constant coverage of Belarus -- of course acting as a huge megaphone for the neoliberal opposition

This "color revolution" leader in Belarus is entirely funded by the US gov't. He is: -an analyst at US gov't propaganda network -a "Vaclav Havel Fellow" at CIA cutout -VP of a US gov't-funded, DC-based org -alumnus of American University

A lot of pro-imperialist NATO lackeys attacked me for pointing out that the US and Western European governments have obviously been trying to orchestrate a "color revolution" in Belarus. Well here is Obama's former top advisor stating it openly:

Hahahahaha here is imperialist sociopath John Bolton, one of the worst war criminals on Earth -- who, after overseeing a war that killed 1 million Iraqis, wanted another war on Iran -- adding further to the regime-change propaganda on Belarus

Imperialist farce the European Union recognizes unelected coup leader Juan Guaidó -- a US puppet who has overseen numerous violent putsch attempts -- as the supposed "president" of Venezuela. But the EU is so concerned about democracy in Belarus!

Here is war criminal Joe Biden endorsing the "color revolution" attempt in Belarus. This regime-change attempt is so boilerplate; it's following the script to a T

Here this US government-funded Belarusian "color revolution" activist is comparing the protests to the astroturfed "Ladies in White" op in Cuba, which was another US government-backed attempt to bring about regime change

In case it wasn't already clear, the blog of the US government's regime-change arm the National Endowment for Democracy (NED), a CIA cutout created by Reagan, is hoping that "Belarus is reminiscent of Ukraine during the Orange Revolution and Maidan"

Cold war relic the German Marshall Fund -- which is funded by the US and German governments, NATO, and EU -- is hosting an event amplifying the Belarus protests, featuring Western government-funded Belarusian "color revolution" activists. It's so blatant

This US government-funded "color revolution" propagandist in Belarus is lying. He is tweeting misleading photos that make it look like there are 30,000 people protesting, but the bird's eye view shows that actually the crowd is not that big. Fake news

The coup attempt in Belarus continues to follow the textbook strategy to a T: If they can't successfully overthrow the government in a "color revolution," the US & EU are preparing to impose suffocating sanctions to destroy the economy, like in Iran, etc.

It's also not a coincidence that this Western-backed coup attempt is coming after Belarus was boosting its relations with Venezuela. Belarus strongly opposed the US blockade and coup attempt with Guaidó and has been collaborating more closely with Caracas
