VA Dems won the popular vote 53-44 and the House of Dels is still 50-50 GOP. VA Dems won the popular vote for House of Dels the last FOUR ELECTIONS and didn’t win a majority of seats in any of them. Gerrymandering is a subversion of democracy. Period.

I am incredibly proud of the 15 undergrads, grads, and post-docs who have came forward about the sexual harassment and misconduct by 3 Dartmouth professors. You all are brave and are making academia a safer place for trainees.

Jared Kushner appears to have committed perjury. I now believe that asking why he still has a security clearance is no longer sufficient. The relevant question is when will Kushner be prosecuted?

Here's who pays more and who pays less under the Senate GOP tax bill. Red bars mean you pay more. Note that I've scaled the size of the bars to reflect how many households are in each group.

HOLY CRAP. New JCT (CBO for tax) tables are out for the Senate's new version. And they are TERRIBLE. On average, everyone under $75,000 gets a tax INCREASE. <---- Read that last sentence again.

Al Franken apologizes. Roy Moore tries to prosecute accusers & doxxes reporters. Al Franken calls for ethics probe of himself. Sarah Huckabee Sanders calls Trump’s accusers liars & fake news. See the difference yet?

It physically pains me that this tremendous piece will be subjected to the amnesia of our modern-day news cycle. Read it. Remember it. These people were human civilians. Our government took their lives without thought or consequence and *they matter*

Taxes for graduate students would rise astronomically in 2018 under house plan. Imagine being taxed on 80k while bringing home 30.

Wait, so owning/operating a private jet gets a tax exemption, but not my tuition waiver? Seems totally reasonable. 🙃
